Exhibition Concept
As winter slowly recedes and the first gentle light of spring touches the vineyards of Luxembourg’s Route du Vin, nature begins to awaken quietly.
The Scottish artist Morag Paul has captured these tranquil moments in her new plein-air watercolours, created directly in and around the impressive Domaine Henri Ruppert. The exhibition was specially curated for the modern wine tavern in the uniquely designed building by the star architect François Valentiny.
The works emerged from an intense engagement with the architecture
and the surrounding landscape. Each painting was created with care on site to capture the fleeting atmosphere of the moment.
Visitors are invited to pause and immerse themselves in the atmosphere of the winery as spring gradually unfolds.
